A 40-YEAR-OLD Bromley man who grew 200 cannabis plants in his flat has been jailed for almost three years.
Paul Knapper, of Sundridge Parade, Plaistow Lane, was arrested after a police raid on his flat in February uncovered a cannabis factory, complete with a full hydroponics system.
More than 200 cannabis plants and £4,000 was recovered from the flat.
After pleading guilty to charges of cannabis production, abstracting electricity and money laundering, Knapper was given a 34-month jail term at Croydon Crown Court on April 23.
The money recovered from the flat was ordered to be forfeited and the drugs and equipment destroyed.
