Classes on Tuesday at Gymboree Bromley, The Glades Shopping Centre.
The International Association of Infant Massage course is run over 4 weeks and lasts around 60 mins. The course is entirely baby led, so you do whatever it is you need to meet your baby’s needs. If your child is sleeping there are spare dolls to practise on. We learn a different part of the body each week and we review the strokes.. There is a special wind and colic routine and some simple gentle movements to help with baby’s co-ordination. Incorporated into the massage are some rhymes and songs. There is discussion time and suggestions on how to adapt the massage as your child grows.
Classes are relaxed, fun and it’s a great way to meet other mums!
Also private 1 to 1 sessions available.
Massage can help…
• strengthen the bond between parent and baby
• manage the symptoms of colic, constipation and gas
• you to learn your babies cues and body language
• help you both to relax
• encourage deeper and longer sleep
• increase your baby’s physical and emotional wellbeing
5 weeks to 1 year old. (pre-crawling).
