TESCO is just two months away from opening its new store in Orpington.
The supermarket giant has confirmed its shop in Earls Way will open on May 19.
It was originally granted planning permission in September 2005 to build a 8,000sq m store on the site of a former multi-storey car park.
Bromley Council then approved another application from Tesco in July 2007 which added a mezzanine floor to the building.
The finished development will be more than 10,000sq m in size when it opens.
A Tesco spokesman said: “We are greatly looking forward to opening the store and know that a lot of people will be looking forward to the offer that we are bringing to the area.
"We are looking forward to serving the people of Orpington.”
