I'am an historiacal aviation research ( for hobby, not for job ) and I live
    in Italy near Milano.
I send you this e-mail about a RAF aircraft that crashed during ww2, July, 13, 1944 in
    northern Italy.
Aircraft: WELLINGTON X HE293, 142 SQDN RAF, 205 GROUP. Airport of
    departure: Regina, Italy.
Aircraft crashed near Bergamo 50 km NE of Milano.
Target: Milano-Lambrate marshalling yard. Date: 13 July 1944
    A crew member was:

    Name: FAIRCLOUGH, KENNETH ARTHUR
    Nationality: United Kingdom
    Rank: Flight Sergeant (Pilot)
Regiment/Service: Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve
    Service No: 1339199
Additional information: Son of Arthur Henry and Maud Lilian Fairclough, of
    Hayes, Bromley, Kent.

Now he is buried in a collective grave in Milan War Cemetery. You see the
    web site of CWGC.
In Italy this episode has been completely forgotten.
I would like to find his relatives still alive to have any information about this pilot.

    Please Can you help me?
    Thanks very much
    Sergio, Italy
