I was listening to an item on the radio about the use of cameras in schools and have been asking my friends about it. For those of you that did not hear it; Nearly all schools have cameras at entrances etc. However, several have cameras in changing rooms and toilets. I am hearing that some schools in Bromley have cameras which may be regarded as intrusive and I thought that as the open days are coming round, it may be a good question to put to the headteachers. I am hoping that if enough people ask, then the heads and governors will have to look at this and review the bullying or vandalism policy. It will also help us to decide which schools have this problem and are not admitting to it.

Is it legal
It is a good thing most of the schools have cameras in the entrance but I was surprised some schools have surveillance in changing rooms and toilers does this violate the legal rules.
