Orpington Library will be closed from Friday 1 May 2009 until Sunday 10 May 2009 to enable installation of self-service kiosks, similar to those in Beckenham and Bromley Central library. The library will reopen on Monday 11 May 2009.
Orpington provides a collection of fiction and non fiction from the popular to textbooks and some material to undergraduate level. There is a selection of newspapers and magazines as well as a range of multimedia items including CDs and DVDs available to borrow. Local Links - access to a wide range of Council services, including reporting an abandoned vehicle and purchasing Garden Waste Collection stickers, is available here.
