A BRUTAL assault left a 22-year-old man in hospital with a broken nose and cheekbone.
The victim got off a number 75 bus near Sainsbury's in Green Lane, Penge and then ran along Penge High Street in an attempt to catch a number 176 bus.
After missing the bus was attacked at 0.34am by three men who had emerged from Maple Road.
The men punched their victim to the ground and robbed him of some loose change.
He was taken to Kings College Hospital, Camberwell, with a
broken nose, cheekbone and cuts to his face.
